As the snow starts to fall in our beautiful city of Philadelphia, you may be asking yourself what kind of festivities you can schedule with family and friends this year. With the pandemic among us, city activities have been adjusted to fit the safety standards for COVID-19. The STC Direct team knows the Greater Philadelphia’s lights are up, the halls are decked, and the trees are trimmed and ready to celebrate the season.
Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink
One of the most anticipated activities in the city during the winter months is to take a spin around the ice rink! Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is known to every resident of our city as a safe, outdoor entertainment experience in Philadelphia’s beloved Dilworth Park. The best part about it? It’s open seven days a week from now until February 28th of 2021. Kids 10 and under are only $5, and adults are $7. What a deal! Grab your skates, mask up, and have fun!
Christmas Village in Philadelphia
Christmas Village in Philadelphia is an authentic open-air German-style Christmas Market at LOVE Park and City Hall. You can find vendors in more than 60 wooden booths as they sell traditional European food, sweets, and drinks. These vendors will also offer a great shopping experience with international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry, and high-quality arts and crafts until their last day on Christmas Eve. A fun fact about this event is that the history of Christmas markets in Germany roots back to the late Middle Ages, and our city is happy to continue this tradition. This event is one of our favorites here at STC Direct.
A Longwood Christmas
From now until January 10th, get ready to be in awe at the towering trees and twinkling lights at A Longwood Christmas! When you arrive at this winter wonderland, you’ll feel like a kid again!
