2017 Recap: A Year Of Growth 📈

It’s crazy to think that 350 days have already passed and only 2 weeks separate us for a new year and new slate! Our year at STC Direct was filled with countless memories, business trips, promotions, team events, and most importantly, GROWTH!

Here’s what all we did in 2017:

Travel & Conferences

Our year started off with a POP 🍾 as our team traveled to Austin, TX for our client broker’s annual “Keys To Success” conference! A networking event connecting hundreds of professionals in our industry, we were thrilled to rub shoulders with the best and explore the Lone Star State with our Executive Team! We headed to Atlantic City in March for a regional leadership conference, to Dallas, TX in July for a HUGE national conference (where we were recognized heavily for our sales performance), to Punta Cana for some much deserved rest & relaxation in October, and lastly to Baltimore in November for some year end motivation! These group trips were also supported by our team’s individual business trips – everywhere from LA, Lexington, Atlanta, and more!

Team Building

A huge focus of our organization this year was on promoting team unity both inside and outside of work! We believe that a team united in camaraderie comes to work happier and are more satisfied with their overall work environment. Nothing matters to us more than making sure our people are content and fulfilled.

To provide this atmosphere, we coordinated weekly team events like happy hours, escape rooms, paintball tournaments, birthday celebrations, concerts, a new office ping pong table, and beach getaways to North Carolina!

Promotions

2017 was a HUGE year of promotions, complete with the advancement of our very own Emma Hand and Brian Ferguson to Assistant Management! Partaking in our company’s Management Training Program, Emma & Brian made a goal in January to give their work everything they had and consequently were promoted in June and August. With plans to expand our company outside of Philadelphia in the first quarter of 2018, these two were the epitome of hard work paying off in 2017!

Growth

Our company won our client’s coveted “Campaign Cup” not once or twice but THREE times in 2017, securing the #1 spot for outsourced marketing & sales firm of the year on behalf of our telecom client. By focusing on hiring the right talent, providing systematic training methodologies, and setting high standards for performance and integrity, our team surpassed every quarter’s expectations! With the upcoming implementation of the world’s #1 CRM software, we are confident that our team’s results and performance will only continue to multiply in the new year!

Our team was proof this year that alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much. The personal and professional development we have witnessed from everyone here at STC Direct is not only impressive but moving.
